Mangalyaan runs out of fuel

According to PTI, which cited ISRO sources, India's Mars Orbiter vehicle has run out of propellant and its battery has discharged above the safe limit, fueling suspicion that the country's first interplanetary mission, "Mangalyaan," may have finally ended its long run. The Mars orbiter vehicle operated considerably past its intended mission duration of six months—nearly eight years.
