The clubhouse become more popular and trending in tech news.

Clubhouse was released on android on may 21st. Earlier, it was available only on ios.


You can download the clubhouse for free from Android play store and IOS Appstore.


The new clubhouse has new features. Now anyone can join the application using username registration. Earlier you should invited by someone who use the app. But now the registration is made simple.


When you open the app, you will see a Get your username button. The button will lead you to next page at where you have to provide your mobile number and verify it with otp.



In the following pages, you can give your username and picture. Or you can skip your picture setup. That's it! you now ready to use the Clubhouse.


You can select you favourite topics from the next page. So the related rooms will be available at your landing page and you can join to any of them.


Clubhouse provide you a virtual discussion setup and it can be anything like friendly talk, gossips, tech talks. Also you can join to any discussions that are available to you and you can participate in it or you can be a listener. The discussions called as Rooms.


You can create rooms of maximum 5000 members. The one who controls the room. is known as moderator.


The moderator decides who to talk in the room. Means speakers needs the permission from moderator to speak.


There are 3 types of rooms.

Open Rooms : Anyone can join to this room without permission.

Social Rooms : Only the followers of moderator can join the room.

Closed Rooms : Only the invited people can join the room.



If you want to speak in a room, you have to click the " raise hand " button. You can speak after the approval of moderator. If you wanna leave the chat, you can click on "Leave quietly" button.



You can schedule a discussion using the option events. You can invite your followers to join the event at the time of event.


twitter spaces, reddit talk, spotify locker room, stage channels are the alternatives of clubhouse.


The facebook, telegram and slack are building their alternative version.
